As usual Central Texas has really gone all out for the Halloween Festivities!  If you don't have a clue about what to do there is something for everyone!  Starting TONIGHT!!!

KISD Fall Festival: The Killeen Independent School District Career Center is hosting its Fall Festival from 3 to 8 p.m. Killeen ISD students and their families are welcome to celebrate with animals, food, a photo booth, video game competition and much more. The event is at the KISD Career Center, 1320 Stagecoach Road.

 

Haunted Hayride: The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Copperas Cove High School will hold haunted hayrides at 7 p.m. today, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Ogletree Gap Park, 1878 U.S. Highway 190 in Copperas Cove. Tickets are $6 or $20 for four tickets. For more information, call 254-547-7571.

CTC Fall Carnival and Haunted House: The Central Texas College Student Clubs and Organizations will host its annual CTC Fall Carnival and Haunted House today and Saturday, from 6 to 11 p.m. Activities include carnival games, food, entertainment, hayrides, pumpkin carving and a multiroom haunted house. Entry is $5 per person. Games and food pricing will vary. The Mayborn Science Theater will feature Halloween-themed laser light shows. The show schedule starts at 6 p.m. with “Laser Halloween” followed by “Fright Light” at 7 p.m., “Laser Halloween” at 8 p.m., “Halloween Spook-tacular” at 9 p.m. and “Laser Hallow-SCREAM” at 10 p.m. CTC is at 6200 W. 2014 Monster Dash 5k Walk/Run and Little Monster Dash: The Rotary Clubs of Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Killeen, Killeen Evening and Killeen Heights will host the Monster Dash 5-kilometer walk and run, and 5k team (four person) competition from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Dana Peak Park, 3800 Comanche Gap Road in Harker Heights. There will be a free costume contest and a 1/3-mile Little Monster Dash for children 10 years old and younger. Tickets for the Little Monster Dash are $5, and individuals signing up the day of the race will pay $25 per team member. Call Harker Heights Parks and Recreation at 254-953-5657.

Halloween Movie: The Killeen Arts & Activities Center will present “Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie” at 10 a.m. Saturday. The center is at 801 N. Fourth St. in Killeen. Admission is a donation of one school supply item per person. Call 254-501-6519.

Children’s Halloween Bingo: Play bingo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fort Hood Community Events and Bingo Center, Building. 50012 on Clear Creek Road behind the AAFES gas station. Admission is $5 per person. Call 254-532-9253 and 254-532-9263.

Fall Festival: The First Baptist Church of Nolanville will hold its fall festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be games, activities, a bounce house and candy. FBC Nolanville is at 200 Avenue H in Nolanville. Email fbcnolanville@gmail.com or call 254-698-6435.

Storytime: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 201 E. Central Expressway in Harker Heights, will host a reading of “Click, Clack, Boo!: A Tricky Treat” at 11 a.m. Saturday. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. Call 254-690-1592.

Hallelujah Festival: Comanche Chapel will host the Hallelujah Festival from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday: This Halloween alternative includes bounce houses, wall climbing, horseback riding, snow cones, cotton candy, face painting, and more. Biblical and fun costumes are welcome. Comanche Chapel is located on Tank Destroyer Boulevard, 2 miles west of Clear Creek Road. Call 254-288-6549.

YMCA Halloween Bash: The Armed Services YMCA Harker Heights Program Center will host a Halloween bash from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The bash will include games, a costume contest, and a “Fear Factor” test your limits event. ASYMCA is at 100 E. Beeline Lane in Harker Heights. Call 254-634-5445.

Children’s Halloween Party: The Harker Heights library will host its Children’s Halloween Party from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Wear a costume for trick-or-treating in the library, a dance party, face painting, costume contest, and more. The library is at 400 Indian Trail in Harker Heights. Call 254-953-5491.

Trick or Treat at BLORA Ranch: Horsin’ Around at BLORA will hold a western-themed Halloween from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The event will include haunted hay rides, pumpkin painting, face painting, pony rides, a haunted petting zoo, a parade of horses and costume contests for different age groups throughout the day. Trick-or-treating will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Horsin’ Around at BLORA is located on Cottage Road in Belton. Call 254-681-9788.

Safe Trick or Treat: Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation and the Chamber of Commerce will once again partner to host Safe Trick or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ogletree Gap Park. The evening will consist of city departments, local businesses and civic organizations distributing candy, a costume contest, a pumpkin-carving contest (please bring a pre-carved pumpkin), face painting, games and a bounce house. All events free, except hayride, which costs $6 per person or $20 for a group of four. Ogletree Gap Park is at 1878 U.S. Highway 190 in Copperas Cove. Call 254-542-2719.

Trick or treat?: Trick-or-treating will be permitted 6 to 8 p.m. in Fort Hood family housing areas on Halloween.

Trunk or Treat: A free “Trunk or Treat” event will be held at 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at Eastlake Shopping Center, 3301 E. Rancier Ave in Killeen. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated trunk and best overall costume. There will also be bounce houses, games, demonstrations, and more. For more information, call Martial ZEN at 254-432-5387.

Harker Heights Halloween Hoopla: Families can dress up in costume and enjoy a spooky evening with games, inflatables, candy, activities, and more from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Carl Levin Park, 400 Miller’s Crossing. Concessions are available for sale.

Trunk-or-Treat: Skyline Baptist Church, at 906 Trimmier Road in Killeen, will host a “Truck-or-Treat” event from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31. Children of all ages can gather candy from the many “trunks” that will be stationed in the parking lot of the church. For more information, call 254-699-4479.

Killeen’s Halloween Carnival: This year’s Halloween Carnival will feature a haunted house, pumpkin patch, games, candy, arts and crafts and more from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 South W.S. Young Drive. Admission is free. Call 254-501-8889.

Trunk or Treat: Clear Creek Meadows Apartments, 1202 S. Farm-to-Market Road 116 in Copperas Cove, will host its “Trunk or Treat” party from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. The community will hand out candy to children in Copperas Cove, as well as prizes for Best Car Decorating, Best Resident Costume and Best Pet Costume. Call Kellie D. at 254-547-0533.

YMCA Kid-Safe Halloween Party: The ASYMCA Family Center, 501 Clara Drive in Copperas Cove, is holding a family-friendly, kid-safe party with games, candy, bounce house, popcorn candy, arts and crafts and a costume contest from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Call 254- 542-2851.

Annual Trunk Parade and Festival: First Baptist Church of Killeen, 3310 S. W.S. Young Drive, will host its annual trunk parade and festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. The event will include pony rides, bounce houses, food and games. The church is across from the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. Call 254-634-6262.

Haunted Carnival: Hamm’s Institute of Martial Arts, 3716 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Killeen, will host its third annual Haunted Carnival from 7 to 10 p.m. Halloween. The event will include a special night-time demonstration, carnival games, and a haunted house. Admission is $5 per child younger than 18.

 Trunk or Treat: Southside Church of Christ, 1505 Trimmier Road Killeen, will host it's annual Trunk or Treat Event.  Treats start at 6 p.m. until no more candy!  For more information call 254-526-3041
